Child Safety Standards
JANAVEDIKA's published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), and how we enforce them.
1. Our commitment
JANAVEDIKA has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE). This applies across every part of the platform, including posts, comments, Reels, Stories, direct messages, groups, and profiles, in every language JANAVEDIKA supports.
2. What is prohibited
JANAVEDIKA strictly prohibits any content, account, or activity that:
- Depicts, describes, promotes, or normalises the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor
- Sexualises a minor in any way, including through text, images, video, or audio
- Grooms, solicits, or attempts to sexually exploit a minor
- Facilitates sextortion or trafficking involving a minor
- Shares links to, or directs users toward, CSAM hosted elsewhere
3. Reporting
Every post, comment, message, and profile on JANAVEDIKA has a built-in Report option. Any user, whether or not they hold an account, can use this to report suspected CSAE content or accounts directly from the app. Reports reach our moderation team, who prioritise child safety reports for immediate review.

4. Enforcement
Content confirmed to violate this policy is removed on discovery. Accounts responsible for CSAE violations are permanently suspended. Where required by applicable law, JANAVEDIKA reports such content and accounts to the relevant authorities, including India's National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and, where applicable, international bodies such as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
5. Minimum age
JANAVEDIKA is not directed at children. Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and users under the age of majority in their country should have a parent or guardian's permission to use JANAVEDIKA.
